Beisi Rapid leading manufacture of rapid prototyping, often use ABS, PC, PP, PMMA, Nylon, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Brass …as materials.
- ABS(Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)is a very tough, very durable plastic used in a wide variety of manufacturing. The material is popular and has become a standard for many industries and companies. Beisi Rapid creates plastic parts out of ABS material for many clients.
- PC(PolyCarbonate) used in engineering are strong, tough materials, and some grades are optically transparent. They are easily worked, molded, and thermoformed.Because of these properties, polycarbonates find many applications in rapid prototyping field.
- PP(Polypropylene) is a thermoplastic polymer used in a wide variety of applications including packaging and labeling, textiles, stationery, plastic parts and reusable containers of various types, laboratory equipment, loudspeakers and polymer banknotes. An addition polymer made from the monomer propylene, it is rugged and unusually resistant to many chemical solvents, bases and acids.
- PMMA(Poly(methyl methacrylate)) is a transparent thermoplastic often used in sheet form as a lightweight or shatter-resistant alternative to glass.
- Nylon is a generic designation for a family of synthetic polymers known generically as PA PolyAmides. Nylons (Polyamides) comprise the largest family of engineering plastics with a very wide range of applications such as rapid prototype. Nylons are generally Strong, Tough and Wear Resistant.
- Aluminum is the most widely used non-ferrous metal. Aluminum is a soft, Durable, Lightweight, Ductile and Malleable metal with appearance ranging from Silvery to Dull Grey, depending on the surface roughness. Aluminum naturally generates a protective oxide coating and is highly corrosion resistant.
- Stainless steel is the general name for a family of steels that are corrosion-resistant and contain a minimum of 10.5% chromium. The effect of this minimum level creates a chromium oxide layer on the surface, which is a self-healing oxygen barrier that stops further oxidation. Below 10.5% chromium, the oxide film is of insufficient durability to be self-healing.
- Brass is a metal alloy of copper and zinc that typically has a golden-yellow color but can be closer to red if the alloy has high levels of copper (this is known as “red brass”). Brass is known for its excellent workability, machinability, and antibacterial and anti-biofouling characteristics.
